Random Picker
Pick one or more random winners from a list of names or options, or shuffle the whole list, using a fair cryptographic random generator.
Enter one name or option per line and pick a winner - every entry has the same chance.
Picks use your browser's cryptographic random number generator (Web Crypto), so every entry has the same chance.

What Is the Random Picker?
It picks one or more random entries from a list - a winner for a giveaway, a student to answer a question, a restaurant for dinner or the order of presentations. You can also shuffle the whole list, and remove each winner from the list after the draw so nobody is picked twice.
Is It Fair?
Yes. Picks use the Web Crypto API built into your browser, the same source of randomness used for generating encryption keys, and an unbiased method to choose a position in the list. Every entry has exactly the same chance, and nothing is decided on a server.
How to Use It
- Enter the names or options, one per line.
- Choose how many to pick.
- Click Pick at Random, or Shuffle Whole List for a random order.
- Tick Remove winners to run several rounds without repeats.
Example
With eight names - Aarav, Bella, Chen, Diya, Ethan, Fatima, George and Hana - and three picks, one draw returned Hana, Aarav and Ethan. Every draw is different, and the last few draws are listed below the result so you can show they were not repeated.
Tips for Giveaways
Paste the final list of eligible entries, tick Ignore duplicate entries if people commented more than once, and record your screen while you draw so participants can see the draw was fair.
Limitations
Each line is one entry, so to give someone two chances, enter their name twice and untick Ignore duplicate entries. The picker does not save draws. For a random order of a long list, you can also use Sort Lines with the shuffle option; for random passwords, use the Secure Password Generator.
