Save PDF Pages as Images
Turning a PDF page into an image is handy for sharing a single page on chat apps, adding a page to slides, or uploading to a site that accepts only JPG or PNG. This tool draws each page in your browser at the resolution you pick and saves it as an image.
How to Use It
- Choose a PDF.
- Pick JPG or PNG and the quality: 72 DPI for screens, 150 DPI for general use or 300 DPI for printing.
- Leave Pages empty for all pages, or type ranges such as
1, 3-5. - Click Convert to Images. One page downloads as an image; several pages come as a ZIP file.
JPG or PNG?
JPG files are much smaller and fine for photos and most documents. PNG keeps sharp edges on text and line drawings with no blur, but files can be several times larger. At 300 DPI an A4 page is about 2480 × 3508 pixels.
Limitations
Rendering happens on your device, so very long documents at 300 DPI can be slow on a phone; convert a range at a time. Unusual fonts that are not embedded in the PDF may look slightly different. The images contain pixels only - to copy the words instead, use PDF to Text. To turn images back into a PDF, use JPG to PDF.
