Reorder PDF Pages

Change the order of pages in a PDF by moving thumbnails or typing a new order, then save the rearranged file.

Choose a PDF, move the pages into the order you want and download it.

Drag & drop a PDF here, or click to choose

Rearranged in your browser - the file is never uploaded.

Type the order, or use the arrows under each page.

Reversing is handy for documents scanned back to front by a sheet-fed scanner.

Put PDF Pages in the Right Order

When pages are scanned out of sequence or two documents were merged the wrong way round, this tool lets you rearrange them and save the result. You can move pages with arrows under each thumbnail, reverse the whole file in one click, or type the order you want.

How to Use It

  1. Choose a PDF. Thumbnails appear in the current order.
  2. Use the left and right arrows under a page to move it, or edit the New page order box, for example 3, 1, 2, 4-10.
  3. Click Save New Order.

Handy Tricks

  • Reverse fixes a document fed into a scanner back to front.
  • A page number typed twice appears twice - a quick way to duplicate a page.
  • Pages left out of a typed order are dropped, and the tool tells you how many.

Limitations

Pages are copied unchanged, so quality is not affected, but bookmarks from the original are not kept. For long documents, typing the order is quicker than moving thumbnails. To remove or rotate pages, use Delete PDF Pages or Rotate PDF.
