A Clean Signature in the Size the Form Wants

Government, bank and exam applications often ask you to upload your signature as an image with exact limits - for example 140 × 60 pixels and 10-20 KB. A phone photo of a signature is usually grey, tilted and several megabytes. This tool cleans it up, crops it tight and saves it at the size and file limit you need.

How to Use It

1. Sign on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen and take a photo straight from above, in daylight.
2. Choose the photo. The original and the result appear side by side.
3. Move Whiten paper until the background is pure white and the signature is still complete.
4. Pick the output size from the form's instructions (or Custom) and the maximum KB.
5. Click Download Signature.

What the Clean-Up Does

• Whiten paper turns shadows and grey paper into white, which also makes the file much smaller.
• Ink colour can keep your pen's colour or make it solid black or blue.
• Trim removes the empty paper around the signature so it fills the box.

The signature is then centred on a white image of the exact pixel size and saved as a JPG under your KB limit.

Limitations

Very faint pencil signatures or photos with strong shadows may lose thin strokes - retake the photo in better light rather than pushing the slider too far. The result is an image of your signature, not a digital signature certificate (DSC). To place a signature on a PDF, use Sign PDF; for your photo, use the Passport Size Photo Maker.
