Flatten PDF Forms
Turn the filled-in fields of a PDF form into fixed page content so the answers can no longer be edited and print correctly everywhere.
Choose a filled PDF form, check the fields listed and download the flattened copy.

What Does Flattening a PDF Do?
A fillable PDF form keeps its answers in fields that anyone can click and change. Flattening turns those fields into ordinary page content, so the answers look the same but can no longer be edited. It also fixes forms whose answers disappear or look different when printed or opened in another app.
How to Use It
- Choose a filled-in PDF form. Every field is listed with its type and current value.
- Check that the values are what you want to send.
- Click Flatten Form to download the flattened copy.
When to Flatten
- Before emailing a completed application, invoice or agreement, so nobody can quietly change an answer.
- After signing with Sign PDF, to fix both the signature and the answers.
- When a portal shows empty fields in a form you filled in.
Limitations
Flattening cannot be undone, so keep the fillable original. Forms built with XFA (some older government forms made in Adobe LiveCycle) are not supported. Fields that use unusual fonts may look slightly different after flattening. A flattened form is harder to edit, not impossible: it is not a security measure like a digital signature.
